Our Annual Competition started in earnest with the hand-in of prints by our members. This year 148 prints have been entered in 9 categories. Each one was checked in and given a number and then they were stacked according to category before being packaged up for eventual delivery to our two judges: Haydn Bartlett LSWPP LSINWP from Halifax and Steve Womack LRPS CPAGB EFIAP from Wakefield.
Once judged and feedback received during April and May the highest scoring prints in each category will be exhibited in a shop unit on the Piazza in Huddersfield. Our occupancy of the unit shown in the left of the picture, courtesy of Temporary Contemporary and Kirklees Council will be from 6th July to 14th August 2022.
In addition 156 Projected Digital Images in 7 categories have been submitted and once judged the best of these will be displayed at our exhibition on a HD television.
Members entries are now complete but the work has only just started for the competition and exhibition team.
