Huddersfield High St Heritage Action Zone Project

Working in partnership with Kirklees Council, Hudderfield Photo-Imaging Club has been documenting some of Huddersfield's fine Victorian architecture as part of Historic England's High St Heritage Action Zone ProjectThe project aims to bring  vacant and underused buildings back into to use and breathe new life into St George's Square.

George Hotel, a prominent feature of Huddersfield's George Square is Grade II* listed and renowned as the birthplace of Rugby League.
